How our soap making journey started
We are always finding new ways to make use of our farm produce and a plentiful supply of goats milk inspired us to give soap-making a go. We leave our kids (baby goats) to be Dam reared (Reared by the mummy goat) this means that we only take the goats milk for ourselves if the nanny is producing more milk than the kids need or when the kids start to approach weaning (moving to solid foods). Our goats are hand milked & our soap is made in the old world style-in our home, one small batch at a time. Goats milk is great for producing a soap that is both gentle and moisturising for your skin. With this in mind we don't use any harsh chemicals or dyes in our soaps, we use minerals to dye our soap and essential and fragrance oils to scent our bars. We can tell you the story for each bar of our soap, which goat or goats the milk came from, who milked the goat & who made the soap.
We encourage you to ditch synthetic detergents, pamper yourself and your loved ones by embracing creamy natural goats milk soap instead!
We hope you love love our products as much as we love our goats

Why is goats milk good for my skin?
- Goat milk is naturally rich in vitamins A, B, D, and minerals like calcium and potassium, which are beneficial for skin health and all contribute to its excellent moisturizing and nourishing properties
- The pH of goats milk is. similar to human skin, this make goat milk soap gentle and less likely to cause irritation. Its a great alternative for those with sensitive skin.
- Goat milk contains lactic acid, a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which gently exfoliates the skin by removing dead skin cells. Gentle exfoliation with goats milk soap can help with skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

What are the ingredients in your soap?
Goat Milk, Natural Oils (Coconut oil, olive, castor) Sodium Hydroxide (lye), Fragrance Oil, Essential Oil, Cocoa and Shea Butter, Minerals and Clays, Herbs and seeds.

What are essential oils?
They are not "oils" in the traditional sense, like cooking oils but are instead a concentrated, aromatic liquid extracted from plants through distillation or pressing, capturing the plant's scent and flavour.

What is soap &Why is our soap different?
Soap is made of fats (vegetable oils or animal fats). These fats are mixed with a strong alkali, which leads to a chemical reaction called saponification. The result of the reaction is soap, glycerine and water. Many soaps in the shops nowadays are actually synthetic detergents which clean by stripping the skin of its natural oils. The glycerine in soap is naturally moisturising. I wanted to create a really natural soap that was both smooth and soft to the skin without harsh chemicals or artificial dyes. After months of experimentation, we perfected our recipe! We now have a creamy moisturising soap that contains no Phthalate, paraben or sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate or palm oil.

Safety First!
